I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone Release Party

We at LWN are happy to report the release of Stephanie Kuehnert’s debut novel, I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone. Stephanie’s novel, described as a raw, edgy, emotional novel about growing up punk and living to tell about it, will be released through MTV books.

As a friend to LWN, Stephanie has read at multiple Prose Shows, and a chapter of her upcoming novel Ballads of Suburbia is featured in issue one of 10K TOBI.

Help Stephanie celebrate her novel’s debut at the book’s release party.

Punk rock is in Emily Black's blood. Her mother, Louisa, hit the road to follow the incendiary music scene when Emily was four months old and never came back.

Now Emily's all grown up with a punk band of her own, determined to find the tune that will bring her mother home. Because if Louisa really is following the music, shouldn't it lead her right back to Emily?
